| This was our first big trip with our then year-old son. We'd be lying if we said we weren't worried about how it would turn out, 8 hours in the car was a long time for the little guy. So we decided to break up the trip and have some play stops along the way. After spending some time on the internet, we quickly realized that it's not only hard to find parks along the way but it was even harder to find some information on the parks themselves and, most importantly, if they were even worth the stop! As we all know, necessity is the mother of invention, so this dilemma got us thinking. What if there was a website where we could look up parks, both locally and nationally, and find out the information important to us, as parents. This is how Parks2Know was born.
Taking our children to parks is a daily routine for us. Not only is it a great way for them to get some fresh air and exercise to tucker them out, but it's free. We've watched our kids discover that it feels funny to have sand slip through their fingers, learn how to interact with other kids and to know the thrill of going down a good slide. But not all parks are winners. Yes, some are amazing but we've been to our fair share of disappointments. I know with us, once we've spent a crazy amount of time getting the kids dressed, ready, out the door and in the car, only to get to a park that's a compete flop, we feel a little defeated. We want Parks2Know to help other parents avoid that feeling!
This site was created purely with parents and families in mind. We hope that the park details that are listed really help you make an informed choice about which is best for your kids and as we all know, not everyone has the same needs so we tried to cover all aspects so you can find the perfect match.
If you would like to share anything with us, something that you'd like to see added or just to say hi, please, give us a holler at info@parks2know.com
So from us, and our two little ones, happy searching and we hope to see you out there!
Love Your Park!
